Zavijava Films es una Sociedad Limitada creada en 2021 con sede social en Belmonte de San José (Teruel), un pequeño pueblo en la que hoy se llama la España vacía. Su objetivo es desarrollar y producir obras audiovisuales que reflejen de una manera directa o indirecta la situación que se vive hoy en estas tierras.
Zavijava Films is a company based in Belmonte de San José (Teruel), a small town in what today is called Empty Spain. Its objective is to develop and produce any type of audiovisual works that reflect in a direct or indirect way the situation that is lived today in these lands.
Desde Zavijava Films pensamos que estos últimos años se ha despertado el del público por las condiciones de vida en estas tierras casi abandonadas. Creemos que es un espacio muy especial en el que la dureza y la belleza del paisaje entroncan con la de la propia vida de sus habitantes, y estamos convencidos de que, planteándolas con rigor financiero y como una apuesta firme por ir en búsqueda de su espectador, hay un mercado para este tipo de producciones.
From Zavijava Films we believe that in recent years the public's interest in the living conditions in these almost abandoned lands has been awakened. We believe that it is a very special space in which the harshness and beauty of the landscape are connected with the life of its inhabitants, and we are convinced that, by approaching them with financial rigor and as a firm commitment to go in search of its viewers, there is a market for this type of productions.
Nuestra idea es que este entorno del Bajo Aragón, con todos estos pueblos desperdigados de apenas 70 habitantes, y esos campos de labor, de olivos y almendros, que apenas dan para vivir a sus propietarios, es un espacio excepcionalmente adecuado para una historia de amor como la que pretendemos contar en nuestro próximo largometraje de ficción: Tierra Baja, sobre la importancia de la memoria y la amenaza del olvido. Creemos en las posibilidades comerciales de una película con esos ingredientes, un drama romántico adulto ambientado aquí.
Our idea is that this environment of The Lowland of Aragón, with all these scattered villages of barely 70 inhabitants, and those fields of olive and almond trees, which barely provide a living for their owners, is an exceptionally suitable space for a love story like the one we intend to tell in this feature film, about the importance of memory and the threat of oblivion. We believe in the commercial possibilities of a film with these ingredients, an adult romantic drama set here.
